i’m sorry the WHAT!?
but what if at the end of season 3, this song is playing.
and there’s a whole bunch of different couples and families are saying goodbye at their respective places, or somebody’s looking out the window of an airplane already and their all thinking of the choir room and the auditorium and all the times they smiled over the past three years. Like when Kurt was on the football team, or Artie found the leg machine, or when they won regionals or even their very first sectionals. And then the sad times to, like when Finn found out about the baby, or Santana found out about the campaign video or when Burt was in hospital or even when they thought that Glee was going to have to end because they lost the competition back in season 1.
and we’re all looking at our screens and there’s less than a minute left of season 3, of this year, of this cast, and the camera’s cutting between grand central, or the airport, or peoples driveways. And they’re hugging or crying or kissing or smiling or waving and then the camera slowly fades and the last shot we see is the empty choir room, which now dons a new picture of the entire glee club, under which there is an inscription;
“By its very definition, Glee is about opening yourself up to joy”
